People have to plan their resources to avail the maximum benefit out of them. People plan their investment to full their major needs like financial protection, career planning, assets purchase, children’s education, marriage or retirement planning. There are various investments options for various people. For the risk-averse people, there is savings a/c in banks, fixed deposit in banks, post office schemes. For the brave it is dabbling in the stock market. Stock market provides an option to invest in a high risk, high return game. However, an enticing as it might appear, people generally are clueless as to how the stock market functions and in the process can endangered their hand-earned money. For those who are not adapt at understanding the stock market, the task of generating superior returns at similar levels of risk is arduous to say the least. This is where mutual funds come in to picture.Item CONSUMER AWARENESS AND PERCEPTION ON QUALITY OF SERVICE IN HOSPITALS(RESEARCH REVIEW International Journal of Multidisciplinary, 2018-10-03) Thulasipriya B; Durai Eswari SIn today’s highly competitive healthcare environment, hospitals increasingly realize the need to focus on service quality as a means to improve their competitive position. Consumers’ awareness and perception of health care service quality therefore play an important role when choosing a hospital. This study is to identify the consumer awareness, perception and the problems faced by the respondents in hospitals. The data has been collected from 50 consumers in Coimbatore by applying random sampling technique. Statistical tools such as percentage analysis and weighted score analysis have been used to analyze the data. Finding of the study reveals that there is no significant relationship between age, gender, educational level, occupation, family type, marital status and level of satisfaction of Hospitals. The main contribution of this study is that, it proposes a way to assess quality services in the hospitals.Item A STUDY ON CONSUMER SATISFACTION TOWARDS HIMALAYA PRODUCTS WITH SPECIAL REFERENCE TO DHARAPURAM TOWN(International Journal of commerce and Management Research, 2016-07) Nithya L; Durai Eswari SThis study is to identify the consumer satisfaction level and the problems faced by the respondents while using Himalaya products. The data has been collected from 50 consumers in Dharapuram by applying convenient sampling technique. Statistical tools such as percentage analysis, chi-square analysis and weighted score analysis have been used to analyse the data. Finding of the study reveals that there is no significant relationship between age, gender, educational qualification, monthly income, marital status and level of satisfaction of Himalaya product.The study has attempted to cast light on the preference of the consumers also this study has necessitated the Himalaya manufacturing company to increase the awareness about its different products which are high in quality then their competitors. .Item A STUDY ON CONSUMER AWARENESS AND PERCEPTION ABOUT BRANDED JEWELLERY(Indian Journal of Applied Research, 2015-03) C, Gomathy; N, Yesodha DeviBranded jewellery has gained acceptance forcing traditional jewellers to go in for branding. Branded players such as Tanishq, Jewel One have opened outlets in various parts of the country. However, the share of branded jewellery in the total jewellery market has been still small because of the mindset of the average Indian buyer who still has regarded jewellery as an investment. Moreover, consumers trusted only their family jewellers when buying jewellery. Consequently, the branded jewellery players have tried to change the mindset of the consumers and encourage customers with attractive designs at affordable prices. Hence, a study has been undertaken to find out the consumers awareness and perception about branded jewellery and it is found that, maximum number of consumers is aware of Tanishq brand and they have a very good opinion about branded jewellery. Tanishq brand is the most preferred brand by the consumers and they have opined that, there is some price variation between branded and non branded jewellery
