Item A STUDY ON USAGE OF PERSONAL CARE PRODUCTS BY WOMEN IN COIMBATORE CITY(Paripex – Indian Journal of Research, 2014-01) R, Krishna Kumari; N, Yesodha Devi; S, SujathaPersonal care products are one among the fast moving consumer goods enjoying great market share in India. The present study focuses to find out the source of awareness of personal care products, the personal care products used and the reasons for using and finally the satisfaction with regard these products. The data was collected from 150 women respondents in coimbatore city under convenient sampling technique through a questionnaire .Percentage and chi square analysis is used for data analysis. The study found that the respondents are mostly aware of personal care products through television advertisements. The analysis shows that the respondents are satisfied with the quality of these products.Item CONSUMER’ WILLINGNESS TOWARDS EXPENDING PREMIUM PRICE FOR ORGANIC FOOD PRODUCTS IN COIMBATORE DISTRICT(Indian Journal of Applied Research, 2013-12) S, Sujatha; N, Yesodha Devi; R, Krishna KumariThis study attempted to gain knowledge about consumers’ willingness to pay high for organic food prod-ucts and their demographic characteristics. Data were collected in supermarkets, organic food shop and departmental stores in different areas of Coimbatore district, of Tamilnadu state. A total of 150 respondents were taken for the study. The data obtained from the survey were analyzed using percentage analysis and ANOVA. Result indicated that almost of the consumers are eager to pay 20 per cent high for organic food products and were heavily influenced by the perception on organic product worth of pay for and the belief on the safety and health aspect of the product.Item CUSTOMER JOURNEY MAP A TOOL FOR INNOVATION(The International journal of analytical and experimental modal analysis, 2019-08) S, Sujatha; G, Menaka; AnushruthiIt is challenging for service companies to obtain a detailed overview of their customers' end-to-end service delivery processes. Customer journey mapping helps to identify how the customer is treated during each contact and how the customer feels towards the organisation at the end of the experience. This information can then be used to aid the management for decision making. Customer journey maps give businesses a way of getting into their customers’ heads, helping them gain valuable insight and understanding regarding common customer pain points. This paper extends the view about customer journey map, Need, Components, steps to create CJM and advantages of customer journey map.Item AN EMPIRICAL STUDY ON CUSTOMERS PERCEPTION TOWARDS CASHLESS TRANSACTIONS IN COIMBATORE CITY(International journal of management and social science, 2018-12) S, SujathaIndia is moving forward to the most significant digital revolution and cashless transaction will be a main landmark in the establishment of cashless economy in the coming years. Cashless transaction is an electronic medium that allows consumers to make electronic commerce transactions for their purchase and also for financial transactions. The main objective of the study is to know the source and use of cashless transactions, the aids of cashless transactions and the problems faced while using cashless transactions. The study is based on primary data and secondary data. Simple percentage analysis and rank analysis is used for the purpose of study and the primary data were collected from 150 respondents by using simple random technique in Coimbatore city. The Secondary data is collected from journals, magazines, newspapers and websites. The study concludes that people prefer cashless transaction due to its convenience, and one of the major problem in working of cashless transaction is lack of welfare and security. The government must take necessary steps to support internet security from protection against online fraud and also government must provide proper campaign to get more aware about the latest update of cashless transactions.Item A STUDY ON CUSTOMERS PREFERENCE TOWARDS ONLINE SHOPPING WITH SPECIAL PREFERENCE TO COIMBATORE CITY(International journal of management and social science, 2018-12) S, SujathaThe massive Indian market is changing fast. Internet access is mainstreaming among professionals and the use of mobile is intensifying. The pace of change continues to be rapid with digital channels constantly growing in volume and strength. More people spend more time online in India every year, and the digital tools and sites they use play an ever-growing role in their lives. A Sample of 100 respondents was randomly selected from Coimbatore city. Percentage analysis and rank analysis is used to analyze the data. It is found from the study that most of the customers have favourable attitude towards online shopping and majority of the customers suffer due to unnecessary delay in getting the product. It is suggested that the online dealers should take care to improve their environment to avoid delay in delivering the products.Item A STUDY ON JOB SATISFACTION OF PART TIME EMPLOYEES IN COIMBATORE CITY(International journal of multidisciplinary, 2018-10) S, Sujatha; G, MenakaPart-time work is an employment characteristic. It is defined in relation to full-time work, with reference to the number of hours worked for the type of job in a certain industry or occupation. The number of working hours in full-time jobs varies from activity to activity but also from country to country. The main objective of the study is to know the attitude of part-time workers towards their work and to identify the factors that motivate to work part-time and also to measure the employees’ level of job satisfaction. The study is conducted in Coimbatore city by using both primary data and secondary data. The primary was collected with 200 respondents by using simple random sampling technique and secondary data from journals and magazines. Simple percentage analysis is used to analyse the data. The study suggests that the quality of part-time job is more important and advertisements can be improved for the needs of part-time job and also friendly relationship should be maintained among the employer and employers of part-time job. The study concludes that most of them prefer to take up part-time jobs due to financial constraint.Item A STUDY ON DAIRY FARMING WITH SPECIAL REFERENCE TO METTUPALAYAM TOWN(International journal of multidisciplinary, 2018-10) S, Sujatha; AnushruthiDairying is an important source of subsidiary income to small/marginal farmers and agricultural labourers. A sample consisting of 120 dairy farmers were selected randomly from Mettupalayam town to study their current position and marketing practices. Simple percentage analysis is used for this study from Mettupalayam town. The objective of the study is to analyze the profile of dairy farming in Mettupalayam town and various problems faced by them in general. This study concludes that the practice of dairy farming should be encouraged in each house holds as it may add additional revenue to the income in the family and it is highly nutritious of including milk and milk products in the food habits of the people.Item A STUDY ON THE ATTITUDE TOWARDS AYURVEDIC TREATMENT AMONG PUBLIC CBE CITY(International journal of pure and applied mathematics, 2018-09) S, Sujatha; AnushruthiAyurveda medicine is a system of medicine with historical roots in the Indian subcontinent. Globalized and modernized practices derived from Ayurveda traditions are a type of complementary or alternative medicine. In the Western world, Ayurveda therapies and practices (which are manifold) have been integrated in general wellness applications and as well in some cases in medical use. This study primarily focuses on the awareness level, attitude and satisfaction among the public towards the ayurvedic treatment. For the purpose of the study 150 respondents were identified through purposive sampling method. The changing social attitude of many women has changed their attitude towards fashion as they buy clothes to satisfy themselves At present leggings are most trending cloths preferred by most of women compared to other clothing. The women expectation towards their brand differs in various aspects like quality, cost, comfort, availability etc. In this modern trend, the leggings have been adorned by women as they have been much better than their earliest form. An attempt is made to know the buying behavior of women towards branded leggings The study is based on both primary data and secondary data and the primary data were collected from 150 respondents by using simple random technique. In this paper, an attempt has been made to find impact of demonetization on the public. The main objective of the study is to analyse the impact of demonization. Samples of 150 respondents were randomly selected from Coimbatore District. Percentage analysis and ranking analysis is used for the study. It also results that demonetization helps to destroy black money is the first ranking given by the respondents and it is followed by corruption, terrorism etc
