Development of digital technologies has lead to advent of a cyber consumer and cyber-business. Smartphones and social media exerted certain power on dynamic development of a digital marketing. Therefore, manners of accomplishing potential clients through mobile phones and social networks are current communication channels, which can build a relationship with a customer, thus increasing sales. The paper also discusses the concepts of technology which changed the outlook of marketing.

    Learning styles of students are changing as the environment in which we live changes. From an educational perspective learning methods and practices are evolving and improving. Traditional deductive approaches that start with the fundamentals in a formal lecture setting and then move onto applications may not address all learning styles of students. Traditional lecturing clearly identifies to students what is required to be known for exam purposes, while this appeals to many students. It is not necessarily the best or most appropriate learning styles for all students or all subject matter. A Smart classroom is a pseudo intelligent room that can reconfigure the present hurdles in academic environments. This paper analyses the teacher and student perspective on smart class rooms technological applicability, usage and benefits.

    SELF-HELP GROUP PARTICIPATION AND EMPOWERMENT OF WOMEN

    The SHG Movement in India is a development programme of organising the poor people and the marginalized to come together to solve their individual problems. Indian Government percepts the goal of economic fortification through implementation of Self-Help Movement programmes and these programmes by improving women’s ability to earn an income for their livelihood and thereby increasing well-being for women and their families, have the potential to initiate a series of ‘virtuous spirals’ by enlightening economical, social and political empowerment and thereby humanizing women with overall empowerment. Hence, a rationale analysis is made in this study to find whether social, economic and personality impact has led to empowerment of women through their participation in Self-Help movement is analysed on 500 Self-Help Groups and 1500 Self-Help Group members engaged in economic activities for a minimum of 5 years.

    On account of the competitive customer service and sprit, unleashed by the above said banks, there is a transformation in the customer needs like access to deposits anywhere anytime, speedy transfer of funds, quick remittances and bill collections and fast screening of credit proposals without undue paper work etc., This was hitherto unknown to the public sector commercial banks of India and it necessitated them to focus on service quality and customer satisfaction dimensions not only to retain the existing clientele but also to attract new customer to remain competitive. In this regard, this study attempts to assess the services provided to the customers in the banking industry.

    Electronic goods are one of the common products used by the consumers. The existence and development of electronic industry plays a significant role in the economic and social development of our country. The companies are trying to make their products more popular and thereby try to be successful. In the competitive market, prospective rural buyer is prepared to choose the right one based on their needs. An understanding of the purchase behavior of an consumer is an essential aspect as it reflects the influence of brands, purchase timing, buyer and consumer type on the purchase of a particular durable. This insight helps the company to take steps to maintain loyalty of current customer and also attract new customers. Therefore, a study is necessary to improve sale of consumer durable in rural market in the light of the increased stability of the people and changing marketing environment. The main aim of the study is to find out the consumer behavior towards electronic goods in rural area. This study is helpful to the consumer perception, beliefs and behaviors.

    A STUDY ON CONSUMER PREFERENCE TOWARDS HEALTH DRINKS IN COIMBATORE CITY

    Consumers are highly complex individuals, subject to a variety of psychological needs. The present study makes an attempt to examine the level of awareness and consumer preference towards health drinks. This study would bring to light which brand of health drink is mostly preferred by the consumers and why they choose a particular health drink. Questionnaires were designed and distributed to the consumers for the collection of primary data. The total sample size is 150 in total. From the Primary Data, the Percentage Analysis and Chi-Square Test were derived.

Our pattern of communication has altered and has created economic and social impacts on the lives of the individuals. Now, a new technological advancement has hit the communication industry. As such there are various cellular companies viz., Aircel, Airtel, Vodafone, BSNL, reliance, and Tata Indicom who are authorized by the govt. to provide mobile phone services to public. This has made the researcher to make a study on the consumer’s attitude towards Tata Docomo cellular services and their performance with regard to the existing services.

    Technology plays a vital role in this modern world. As far as mobile phone is concerned the technology is growing rapidly. This makes mobile market very competitive and the sellers are making their brand to be attractive in market and they give concessions and various gifts for the purchaser. So, to trace the preference of the people towards the modern technical mobiles the study was undertaken to investigate Customer preference towards technical mobiles with reference to the Coimbatore city. Data has been collected from 150 respondents, in order to get the needed information a structured questionnaire was issued to mobile phone user. This study enables to know how far mobiles are useful for the customer in their daily life

This has major implications on the public sector commercial banks of India with respect to customer service delivery aspects. It is high time the public sector commercial banks have made efforts to revamp their approach towards customer, so as to perform better and derive competitive advantages in the long run. The researcher tries to study the performance level of public sector banks with respect to variables identified. The study has been conducted on 100 customers of five public banks.
