    CONSUMER ATTITUDE TOWARDS ORGANIC FOOD

    Organic agriculture has long served being the dominant form of agriculture since ages past. organic foods are free of harsh chemical pesticides. In this present scenario organic products grown in healthier soil contain higher amount nutrients and many tastes better than their conventional counterparts.. In this study the respondents were highly satisfied on organic food item with respect to their price level, service, and cleanliness and so on. In India, people give less importance to organic food. They have less awareness towards organic food and their consumption level is also very low. Organic food is treated as an important factor for the consumer to led hygienic life. Wastelands in India can be converted into cultivable lands where Organic farming can be implemented which will increase the productivity of organic products in future. Organic food is treated as an important factor for the consumer to led hygienic life. So the study consumer purchase behavior of organic food may offer a great potential to the market.

It deals with the positive, social, economic and environmental outcomes for the society. The government plays an integral part in social entrepreneurship. Nowadays there is a gradual shift in policy orientation of India with innovation and entrepreneurship promotion strategy occupying high priority in the Government's strategic planning process. The Government has initiated various strategic initiatives for promoting knowledge-based entrepreneurship as a key for generating employment, global competitiveness firms and enhancing the supporting social business.

    Retirement, a transitional life event that involves role relinquishment and an increase in leisure hours often has an impact on the structural of daily activities among retirees. Retirement seems to be a crucial Moment in the process of growing older since it is generally viewed as a point in time where older age begins. The need on studying the retired households is significant as this group of the population is living in the era of electronic, technological and wireless society and also been described as well-educated, confident, passionate, upbeat and socially conscious with high integrity. The impact of technology has been considered as one of the factors of the retired households spending and saving habits. This generation highlight on the value of product purchased and as for managing their financial and investment requirements. Retired households became the target of research in similar form mainly due to this group of the population comprises of a large demographic segment of consumers with high spending power.

    WORKING BEYOND RETIREMENT AGES - AN EMPIRICAL STUDY

    Retirement is one of the most important cross roads that we face in life. It involves a fundamental change in lifestyle-one that calls for a totally new outlook on how we approach each day. Retirement can be defined as the exit from an organizational position or career path of considerable duration. Motivation to continue working after retirement is concerned with the expectations and preferences towards staying employed beyond retirement age decision whether or not to work after retirement age is influenced by both work-related and non-work-related factors. The main objective of this research is to study the motivational factors for working after retirement and the problems faced by the retired working employees. The research was conducted on a sample of 120 respondents and data were collected through questionnaire administered. The results of the study provide several theoretical and practical implications.

    The world is changing at a staggering rate and technology is considered to be the key driver for these changes around us. An analysis of technology and its uses show that it has permeated in almost every aspect of our life. Many activities are handled electronically due the acceptance of information technology at home as well as at workplace. Internet can be seen as a truly global phenomenon that has made time and distance irrelevant to many transactions. The use of electronic banking has removed the banking personnel that facilitate the transactions and has placed additional responsibilities on the customers to transact with the service. Although the use of E-banking is provided for the benefit of the customers these changes require increased work or involvement on the part of customers. But these assumptions would be wrong if the customer knows the value of using the electronic service. This analytical paper studies the attitude of the customers regarding the role of online banking services and analyzes the major factors responsible for internet banking based on various internet applications

    The study deals with the “consumer behaviour and preference towards water purifier” since people becoming aware of the hazards of drinking impure water, the demand for effective water purifier is growing rapidly. The majority of intestinal disorders are caused by water borne micro-organisms and the tap water contains both biological and chemical contaminants. As a result number of consumers is looking for reliable water purification. So, mechanized water purification is often considered more reliable and also it is necessary in the present economy. This study deals with the effectiveness and expectations of consumer towards the product. It also helps to identify the necessity for water purifier.

    A STUDY ON INVESTORS ATTITUDE TOWARDS RELIANCE MUTUAL FUNDS

    In the present era, the vast change in science and technology, change in consumer needs and preferences, globalization of market etc. ,are some of the factors that governs the companies value, sales, profit and public perception of the companies. These changes is reflected in the value of their shares, rise and fall of which is uncertain. A result of this was that many investors lost their trust in share market. Thus there is a need of the mutual fund companies to pool the savings of the investors in a safe channel. And there are many mutual funds in India, which renders different schemes having their own objective. One among them is the Reliance mutual fund which offers a wide opportunity to the investors for a safe investment. Thus, it is necessary to study about the performance of reliance mutual fund and the investors’ attitude and behaviour towards the reliance mutual fund in the present scenario.

    A STUDY ON CONSUMERS PREFERENCE AND ATTITUDE TOWARDS TUPPERWARE PRODUCTS

    With the improving technology day by day there has been increasing expectation in consumers mind for newer products and improved alternatives for the existing one. Tupperware offers a complete solution to store, serve and carry all the basic food groups by its range of products for a healthy and nutritious lifestyle. The present study seeks to identify the preference and attitude of 200 respondents of Tupperware customers. The relevant data of the socio economic profile, the factors influencing to use Tupperware products, the customer satisfaction level were collected with the help of a structured questionnaire. Majority of the respondents are female belonging to the age group of 21-40 years and most of them were unmarried with an educational qualification of Post-graduates. Most of the respondents are aware of Tupperware through their friends and relatives and they use the Tupperware due to good quality and easy to carry their lunch. The Chi-Square analysis shows that personal factors like occupation and marital status had significant influence on the purchase of Tupperware products. ANOVA test shows that there is significant difference among personal factors except Educational qualification and the opinion of the respondents regarding the price of the Tupperware products. T- Test shows that there is no significant difference between the gender and the price of the product. It also shows that there is no significant difference between the gender and the customer’s satisfaction towards the product. Thus the study has given in-depth knowledge about the present scenario of using Tupperware products.

    STRATEGIES USED BY THE WORKING WOMEN TO REDUCE TIME PRESSURE WITH REFERENCE TO COIMBATORE CITY

    Women are the pillars of the economy of the world. Family development is in the hands of the women. Women play an important role in every field. Now a day most of the women are working and achieving in their particular field. Every year 5.5 million educated women are entering into their work field. Many women have retained their work faster and easier. Time pressure may occur both in working place and also in family for working women. Pressure occurs when it is not possible to carry out their normal work where they should able to finish the work with tension and other factors. Working under frequent or constant time pressure may lead to health problems or job related illness. Time pressure may occur due to age structure, uncooperative management, expectations and reality of the situation and unclear structure. The main aim of the study “strategies used by working women to reduce time pressure” is to identify the factors used to reduce the time pressure and the level of satisfaction regarding the strategies followed to reduce time pressure and also to find out about the problems that may arise by using the strategies to reduce time pressure. The information processing strategy and task structure also determine to analyse the effects of time pressure.
