    DETERMINANTS OF DIVIDEND POLICY – A STUDY ON INDIAN CORPORATE SECTOR

    In India, industrial production measures the output of businesses integrated in industrial sector of the economy. The industrial sector is one of the main sectors that contribute to the Indian Gross Domestic Product (GDP).Dividend policy is a key decision area in the field of financial management. The decision of the firm regarding the extent of earnings that could be paid as dividend and the extent that of could be retained by the firm is the concern of dividend policy. The present study examines the determinants of dividend policy of Indian corporate firms over the period 2010 - 2015 and attempts to explain with the help of signaling theory, agency cost theory, life cycle theory, transaction theory and free cash flow theory.Further, dividend-paying companies are more profitable, large in size and growth doesn't seem to deter Indian firms from paying higher dividends. The study was an attempt to identify the determinants of dividend policy of select industries in India. The different industries (5 units each) which are selected from six different major industries. Samples are selected on the basis of highest average dividend payment in last six years from 2009-10 to 2014-15.. The analysis was carried out with the help of financial tools like ratios and statistical tools like mean, standard deviation, Compound annual growth rate (CAGR),multiple correlation and multiple regression respectively.

    Portfolio Management Strategies refers to the approaches that are applied for the efficient portfolio management in order to generate the highest possible returns at lowest possible risks. The objectives of this service are to help the unknown investors with the expertise of professionals in investment Portfolio Management. Some choices involve a trade-off between risk and return. It explains how portfolio hedges risk in investment and gives optimum return to a given amount of risk. It deals with the different investment decisions made by different people and focuses on element of risk in detail while investing in securities. It also gives an in depth analysis of portfolio creation, selection, revision and evaluation. This shows different ways of analysis of securities, different theories of portfolio management for effective and efficient portfolio construction.

The researcher collected data from 250 respondents based on their occupational status. The researcher used tools like Percentage Analysis, ANOVA in the study. The satisfaction on e-filing of Income Tax Returns varies among age group, educational qualification, occupational status, employement status, working experience and gross total income taken for the study.

    Nutritionfacts label information on food label is a very important source of nutrition facts information but is typically underutilized by consumers. This article shows the consumers perception about nutritional label on food products. The data collected from 200 respondents. To analyse the data the Simple percentage analysis and ANOVA has been used. The finding of the study reveals that most of the respondents have positive perception on nutrition facts level.
