Item CONSUMERS’ PREFERENCE FOR ELECTRIC TWO WHEELERS – AN EMPIRICAL STUDY(SK Research Group of Companies – SKRGC Publication, 2022-09-14) Shanthini BElectric two wheelers are becoming increasingly popular throughout the world, as more and more people look for efficient, affordable, and eco-friendly modes of transportation the sale for electric two wheelers is also increasing day by day. The present research was undertaken with the core objective to assess the consumers’ preference for electric two wheelers. The study has been conducted among 100 respondents who prefer to buy electric two-wheeler in near future in Kangayam Town of Tirupur District, Tamil Nadu. The study is descriptive in nature and ensures convenience sampling method for data collection. A well-designed questionnaire is prepared and data have been collected through Google forms. The tools employed are chi-square analysis, correlation, linear regression and Henry Garrett’s ranking technique. The result showed that there is a close relationship between monthly income and consumers’ preference for electric two wheelers. And the same time age and consumer’s preference for electric two-wheeler is also ‘highly significant’. The study concluded by recommending the manufactures to produce more trendy and stylish model electric two-wheelers at competitive price to attract new and young consumers.Item EMPOWERMENT OF SOUTH ASIA THROUGH ECONOMIC CONSOLIDATION(Tycoons News Flash, 2021-02) B, ShanthiniItem THE OPPORTUNITIES AND CHALLENGES FACED BY RURAL WOMEN ENTREPRENEURS IN ERODE DISTRICT, TAMILNADU(International Journal of Research and Analytical Reviews (IJRAR), 2019-09) B, ShanthiniRural women entrepreneurship is gaining importance in recent days in the wake of globalization and economic liberalization. Rural women accept challenging roles to meet their personal needs and become economically self-sufficient. The main objectives of the study were to ascertain the supporting services rendered by the government and financial institutions and to analyze the challenges faced by Rural Women Entrepreneurs. The study was conducted among seventy rural women entrepreneurs in Erode District using stratified random sampling method. Both primary and secondary data was used to meet the need of the study. The primary data collected through the questionnaire was analyzed using simple percentage analysis, two-way table, chi-square test and weighted average ranking method. It was found from the analysis that there is a close significant relationship between age and government scheme and policies. The respondents were also ranked personal and social aspects as their core issues in their career. They are essential for positive human behavior. Human values are usually formed out of one’s own interest, wish, urge and liking. They are often described as universal and are shared by all human beings irrespective of their religion, their nationality, their culture and their personal history. The two main objectives of the present study are, to understand the significance of human values in life and to analyze the human values of adolescents. The study was conducted among fifty adolescents in Erode using random sampling method. Both primary and secondary data was used to meet the need of the study. To frame the questionnaire Schwartz’s Value Survey was also considered and the same was analyzed using simple percentage analysis, two-way table, chi-square test and correlation. Hypothesis framed for the study include, there is no significant relationship between age and initiatives to enhance human values and there is no significant relationship between gender and changes in human values over the years. It was found from the analysis that there is a close significant relationship between age and initiatives to enhance human values and also found that there is no significant relationship between gender and changes in human values over the years. The result of the study revealed that there is significant relationship between the span of time in meditation and stress tolerance level.Item LEARNERS’ ATTITUDE AND PREFERENCE TOWARDS E-LEARNING: AN EMPIRICAL STUDY(i-Scholar, 2020) B, ShanthiniThe rapid advancement in technology remains as a predominant factor for influencing E-learning. The advent of E-learning platforms and modules which is benefitting different sectors is amazing that could only be dreamt a decade ago. The present study was undertaken with the core objective to assess learners’ attitude and preference towards E-learning. The study has been conducted among 125 respondents of Vellalar College for Women (Autonomous), of self financing wing with the students who have completed minimum of two E-learning modules and underwent assessment. The study is descriptive in nature and ensures random sampling method for data collection. A well designed questionnaire is prepared and data have been collected through Google forms. The tools employed are chi-square analysis, one way Analysis of Variance and Henry Garrett ranking technique. The result of chi square test shows that there exist significant association between interest in E-learning and learners’ attitude and preference towards E-learning. The study concluded by recommending the student community to adopt blended learning system for their personal growth and development.Item PREDICTING LEARNERS’ ATTITUDE AND PREFERNCE IN E-LEARNING USING ARTIFICIAL NEURAL NETWORKS(International Journal of Management and Social Science Research Review, 2021-01) B, ShanthiniE-Learning is a web based learning that uses information and communication technology as a platformto facilitate teaching and learning process for e-learners’. The present study felt the need to predict learners’ attitude and preference in E-Learning using artificial neural network (ANN) which was specifically designed to analyze non-linear temporal series through multilayer perceptron (MLP). The research was conducted among 125 respondents of Vellalar College for Women (Autonomous), Erode, of self financing wing with the students who have completed minimum of two E-Learning modules and underwent assessment. The study is descriptive in nature and ensures random sampling method for data collection. A well designed questionnaire was prepared and data was collected through Google forms. The tools used for the analysis include descriptive statistics and artificial neural network (ANN) with the statistical package SPSS 16.0. It was found from the classification table that accuracy rate was high, with 82.8% in classifying the e-learners’ attitude in recommending E-Learning to others in “yes” and “no” category. The study also recommends future researchers to concentrate on diverse academic perspectives and with more samples.
