A NOVEL METHOD TO ENHANCE THE PERFORMANCE EVALUATION OF DBSCAN CLUSTERING ALGORITHM USING DIFFERENT DISTINGUISHED METRICS
    (Elsevier, 2020-11-28) Valarmathy N; Krishnaveni S
The main task in data mining is to group data into meaningful clusters for which many clustering algorithms are used. Among various clustering algorithms the most effective one is DBSCAN algorithm which can be used for different application. This algorithm is noted as high quality density based method which has several advantages like identifying the arbitrarily shaped clusters, the number of clusters to be used need not be predefined, and it can identify the outliers and can ignore it before clustering. The two main input parameters used are Epsilon (Eps) and minimum number of points (MinPts) has great effect on clustering performance. Hence to solve this problem automatic selection of Eps and MinPts is done using K-distance graph method and neighbourhood calculation for each data point is speeded up using spatial access methods. The proposed new algorithm which makes use of spatial access method

(Bonfring Intellectual Integrity, 2020-01-03) Deepika S; Poornachandrika K
The Micro Small & Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are basically small-sized businesses defined in terms of their investment.40% of India’s gross industrial output is contributed by MSME.45% of India’s total export is from MSME and second largest employer after agriculture .undoubtedly the MSME sector is India’s engine of growth. Considering the economic importance, government of India has enabled a separate act, Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises Development Act, 2006 (MSMED Act 2006) on the basis of capital investment made in plant and machinery, excluding investments in land and building. The contribution of MSMEs to Gross Domestic Product, Job creation and balanced economic development is well established, there are more than 55 million MSME enterprises in India. However, the lack of adequate, timely, and affordable access to credit has remained the biggest challenge for these enterprises to grow. It is estimated that around 40% to 65% of MSMEs in emerging markets are either underfunded or not funded in the first place, by the formal financial sector. EFFECTIVE INVOLVEMENT OF MSME IN INDIAN ECONOMY
    (Bonfring Publishers., 2020-01) Uma M; Shiji R
MSMEs are the power engines of the economy. Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (MSMEs) constitute over 90 percent of total enterprises in most of the economies and are credited with generating highest rate of employment growth and also account for a major share of industrial production and exports. This study aims to investigate the major challenges faced by MSMEs today. It also suggests policy recommendations that would help in overcoming those challenges. The government needs to hand-hold the MSME units in order to promote growth in the manufacturing sector. The state of infrastructure is not satisfactory and calls for more investment from the government. Banks are not so willing to provide loans to these units which challenge the prospects of growth in these units. Delayed payments are a big problem which needs tighter rules on the buyer-side in order to safeguard the interests of the manufacturers.
