The study was conducted among 75 women leaders in IT company’s and the results of the study shows that socio-psychological barriers faced by women in leadership in IT sector arises due to work life balance.Item A CONCEPTUAL STUDY ABOUT SOCIO – PSYCHOLOGICAL BARRIERS AMONG WOMEN IN LEADERSHIP(International Journal of Creative Research Thoughts, 2018-01) Vidyakala K; Poornima S; Sheela J; Deepa J; Raji JennetThis paper is a study of leadership research, focusing primarily on socio- psychological barriers among women in leadership. Economic empowerment of women is very important for the development of a nation. Now a day socio-psychological barriers play a major role in the women leadership. Some of the barriers of women leaders are facing managerial sex role stereotyping, work life balance, glass ceiling, cross cultural barriers. Coping strategies such as participatory leadership, determination to succeed, mentoring subordinates and delegation of power, continuous learning and planning served as support that strengthened these women against much of the difficulties they encountered in their professional roles. Also the study discusses and suggests providing support and encouragement through infrastructural facilities, training programmes and skill development programmes etc. to women leaders.Item A CONCEPTUAL STUDY ON ALGO TRADING TEST FACILITY(Global Journal of Commerce & Management Perspective, 2017-08) Nithya Kala K; Aruna; Remesh PThis study focuses on the algorithm trading test facility launched by BSE On 18 th January 2016.This facility is for investors on its equity and derivatives markets..This new service is free of cost for market participants. The main objective of this study is to understand the concept of algo trading test facility and to know about the benefits of this facility. By using this facility the members will be able to test their trading strategies with live market data and past market data. BSE made a provision to generate data analytics reports to check the performance of those trading strategies. The new service for algorithm trading test environment has been established in partnership with Symphony Fintech Solutions.
