    A STUDY ON THE IMPACT OF FOREIGN DIRECT INVESTMENT (FDI) ON GROSS DOMESTIC PRODUCT (GDP) IN INDIA

    This paper examines the impact of foreign direct investment inflows on Gross Domestic Product in India. For that purpose FDI and GDP are variables used in this paper and also yearly data for a period between 2000-2017 is considered for analysis. Regression is the tool applied in this paper. The result of the study confirms that 79.5% variation in the dependent variable (FDI) is explained by the independent variable (GDP). Thus there is a significant relationship between FDI and GDP in India.

    FORECASTING FOREIGN DIRECT INVESTMENT INFLOWS INTO INDIA USING ARIMA MODEL

    The aim of this research is to forecast the inflows of foreign direct investment into India for twelve months. For that purpose ARIMA (Auto Regressive Integrating Moving Average) model is used. This study covers 17 years monthly FDI inflow data of India. Before forecasting the value of FDI inflows it is essential to test the stationarity of the data series. The data set is found to be non-stationary at level and is stationary at first differencing. The study results shows that the total inflow value during July 2017 to July 2018 is 163899.64million US dollars and the average inflow value during these periods is 12607.66million US dollars. The predicted average percentage of increase in the inflows will be 7.69%.

    This research paper is an attempt to find the relation between Foreign Direct Investment and Gross Domestic Product of India. For this purpose correlation tool have been applied between FDI and GDP of India. In this present study yearly data for a period from 2000-01 to 2016-17 have been considered .The findings of the study shows that there is a high level of dependency between the FDI inflow and GDP in India.

    This study focuses on the algorithm trading test facility launched by BSE On 18 th January 2016.This facility is for investors on its equity and derivatives markets..This new service is free of cost for market participants. The main objective of this study is to understand the concept of algo trading test facility and to know about the benefits of this facility. By using this facility the members will be able to test their trading strategies with live market data and past market data. BSE made a provision to generate data analytics reports to check the performance of those trading strategies. The new service for algorithm trading test environment has been established in partnership with Symphony Fintech Solutions.
