    FORECASTING FOREIGN DIRECT INVESTMENT INFLOWS INTO INDIA USING ARIMA MODEL

    The aim of this research is to forecast the inflows of foreign direct investment into India for twelve months. For that purpose ARIMA (Auto Regressive Integrating Moving Average) model is used. This study covers 17 years monthly FDI inflow data of India. Before forecasting the value of FDI inflows it is essential to test the stationarity of the data series. The data set is found to be non-stationary at level and is stationary at first differencing. The study results shows that the total inflow value during July 2017 to July 2018 is 163899.64million US dollars and the average inflow value during these periods is 12607.66million US dollars. The predicted average percentage of increase in the inflows will be 7.69%.

    This research paper is an attempt to find the relation between Foreign Direct Investment and Gross Domestic Product of India. For this purpose correlation tool have been applied between FDI and GDP of India. In this present study yearly data for a period from 2000-01 to 2016-17 have been considered .The findings of the study shows that there is a high level of dependency between the FDI inflow and GDP in India.

Financial inclusion is the conscious effort taken in by Indian government and RBI to bring “Unbanked Population” to formal banking system. Financial inclusion is the process of making financial services available and accessible at affordable costs to all individuals and businesses. Financial inclusion aims to address and provide solutions to the problems that exclude people from participating in the financial sector. This paper focuses on strategies adopted by RBI for Financial Inclusion in India using secondary data in-order to evaluate access and usage of financial services to measure the financial inclusion progress in India

    IMPACT OF DEMONETISATION ON SHARE PRICE OF SELECTED PRIVATE SECTOR BANKS AND PUBLIC SECTORS BANKS LISTED IN NSE

    The study focuses on the impact of demonetisation on the Indian stock market. The role of cash transactions in an informal economy is critical thus the present study throws light as how announcement of demonetisation has an impact on banking sector share price. With 86 percept of the monetary base being washed off, economic activity in the short run is likely to be adversely impacted. The sample size of the study is top five private sector banks and five public sector banks listed in NSE. The test result reveals that the public banks perform better than private sector bank after the demonetization.

    AN EMPIRICAL STUDY ON FACTORS INFLUENCING CUSTOMER LOYALTY IN ORGANIZED FOOD AND GROCERY RETAIL STORES

    Indian retail is a mix of organized and unorganized retail stores. The study examined the factors influencing customer’s loyalty in food and grocery retailing. The data have been collected using structured questionnaire. A total of 96 respondents were randomly selected from organized food and grocery retail store. The collected data were examined using correlation and regression analysis. The factors such as service quality, product quality, pricing strategy and customer loyalty were studied in detail. The study found that service quality and pricing strategy have a positive relationship with customer loyalty.

    This study focuses on the algorithm trading test facility launched by BSE On 18 th January 2016.This facility is for investors on its equity and derivatives markets..This new service is free of cost for market participants. The main objective of this study is to understand the concept of algo trading test facility and to know about the benefits of this facility. By using this facility the members will be able to test their trading strategies with live market data and past market data. BSE made a provision to generate data analytics reports to check the performance of those trading strategies. The new service for algorithm trading test environment has been established in partnership with Symphony Fintech Solutions.

    Globally, the Industry 4.0 market is expected to reach INR 13, 90,647 crores by 2023 (AIMAKPMG-Industry-4.0-report, 2018). India is one of the fastest growing economies of the world and is ready to face global competition by undertaking the “Make in India” programme, by adopting industry 4.0 technology which includes the upcoming trends of Information and Communications Technology (ICT), Data Tools and Analytics, Cyber-Physical systems, Cloud Computing, Robotics and Automation, Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT) and Process Digitization across the business value chain thereby creating a “smart factory”. The integration of digital technologies into the business environment, the so-called digitalization, has led to a number of changes in the practices of Human Resource Management (HRM) which include cloud-computing systems, social networking platforms, big data and HR analytics, mobile enabled technologies and coordinating work between machines and men. This paper addresses industry 4.0 its adoption and its impact on Human Resource Management and Talent management practices in select business organizations in India.

    A STUDY ON THE IMPACT OF ESOP ON FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE BETWEEN SELECTED SECTORS IN INDIA

    Due to the effect of globalization of Indian business, ESOP idea spreads across corporate India and corporate began looking at ESOPs as an attractive tool to hire and retain employees after SEBI ESOS & ESPP Guidelines 1999. Despite the sociological importance of employee stock ownership to altering traditional patterns of wealth distribution the phenomenon has received little academic attention in India. The present paper throws light into ESOP practices and ESOP impact on corporate financial performance in technology intensive and people driven sectors such as software and pharmaceuticals. These sectors are increasingly becoming the engine of growth in our Indian economy. The study empirically analyses pre- and post- financial performance of 80 ESOP companies listed in BSE India. This study is first of its kind in India examining the financial impact among firm’s pre-ESOP and post-ESOP allotment using financial measures as a means of assessing organizational performance in software and pharmaceutical sectors with unexplored Indian data.

    Due to the effect of globalization of Indian business, ESOP idea spreads across corporate India. Financial Sectors also began looking at ESOPs as an attractive tool to hire and retain employees after SEBI ESOS & ESPP Guidelines 1999. This study is an attempt to identify and analyze the macro trends of ESOP phenomenon in Indian Financial Services Industry. The present paper makes an empirical study on the sample of 20 pharmaceutical companies listed in Indian stock market which has adopted employee stock option plan and analyze its impact on firm performance.
