    The study aims at studying about the investor’s awareness level on mutual funds as an investment option. The investment in mutual funds depends upon the level of awareness among the investors. The research objective were to know the purpose of investment in mutual funds and other investment options, to know the extent of awareness about mutual funds with reference to age, income and education. The investment decisions vary with age, gender, education and occupation.

    A STUDY ON VARIOUS OPTIONS AVAILABLE TO INVESTORS WHILE INVESTING IN GOLD

    Abstract In the current market scenario of high volatile, rapidly changing market place, various avenues for investment in gold are creating the confusion among Investors. As per various studies 16,000 tons of gold is there in Indian households predominantly in the form of jewellery There are various alternatives available for investment in gold through options like jewellery coins, bullions, ETF, mutual funds, E-gold etc. The present study is to identify the various options available for investors in gold investment tries to study forms of gold investment avenues available to investors. The objectives of the study are to understand the various investment options for investors, while investing in gold. A sample 50 investors has been collected towards investment in gold. Percentage and ranking method were used for this analyzing the data. The result showed that it is found that many investors prefer jewellerygold coins and gold bullion bars forms of investment and going to found that prefer to invest in ETF and future and option which gives more profit and easy form of investment

    INVESTORS PREFERENCE TOWARDS COMMODITY FUTURE MARKET

    Investment is an asset or item acquired with the goal of generating income and appreciation. In an economic sense, an investment is the purchase of goods that are not consumed today but are used in future to wealth. In finance, an investment is a monetary asset purchased with the idea that the asset will provide income in the future or will later be sold at a higher price for profit. Commodities play a vital role in the development of any economy. Commodities are products which are outputs of primary sector. Today commodity market proves to be a very major avenue of investment. It was observed from the statistical analysis that there was a significant association between the respondents’ age and the various factors such as Terms, conditions& Benefits, Easy transactions. Also there was a significant association between the respondents’ Profession and factors such as Awareness & knowledge, tax exemptions, Affordable brokerages. As a result of Anova test there was significance among Areas of Investment and tax exemption. Also there was a high significance between way of investment decision reached and factors such as Awareness & knowledge, Terms, conditions& Benefits, Tax exemption.
