Item ASSESSING STUDENTS PERSPECTIVE TOWARDS DIGITAL LEARNING – THE NEW NORMAL DURING COVID-19 PANDEMIC(Anvesh an a India, 2021-09) Nithya Kala K; Vidyakala KThe recent Covid-19 pandemic has changed the education model dramatically worldwide. Covid-19 pandemic has triggered in typical rise of e-learning and has influenced education in a positive way for many. In the era of Covid-19 pandemic technology is playing a vital role in broadcasting information and knowledge. The current study had been undertaken in the Coimbatore city to study the digital learning impact during Covid-19 pandemic. The primary data was collected from 761 Arts & Science college students and have been analysed using descriptive statistics and ANOVA. The findings of the current study suggest that the students accept e-learning as a better path for future education during and post Covid-19 pandemic.Item A CONCEPTUAL STUDY ON LEADERSHIP IN INDUSTRY 4.0(PSGR Krishnammal College for Women, 2019-09) Vidyakala K; Raji JennetIndustry 4.0 stands for ‘fourth industrial revolution' and the term refers to rapid transformations in the design, production, implementation, operation, and service of manufacturing systems, products, and components. To get the most out of Industry 4.0 technologies, organizations will have to heavily invest in building capabilities in the following dimensions: data and connectivity, analytics and intelligence, conversion to the physical world, and human-machine interaction. Leadership 4.0 is one of the latest exhortations within the organization. It is a type of leadership that is cross-hierarchical, fast-paced, responsive, team-oriented and cooperative. Women leaders are actively work to expand their thinking ideas and systems in their leadership position. At present, it is important to recognize that these traits and accompanied by digitalisation of company’s business model. Connected physical and digital technologies make up systems capable to make autonomous decisions using data analysis and machine learning. The implementation of these smart technologies will redefine industries and competitiveness across the world.Item A CONCEPTUAL STUDY ON BARRIERS FACED BY WOMEN LEADERS(Viswajyothi School of Management Studies, Vazhakulam Kerala, 2019-02) Vidyakala KIn the way of women leaders in their leadership position, they are facing lot of barriers - there are societal, cultural, corporate structure issues, work life balance, job related stress, gender related barriers and economic hurdles, lack of entrepreneurial/leadership environment. Despite all these social &other hurdles, many women are successful in their work. Also the study discusses and suggests providing support and encouragement through infrastructural facilities, training programmes and skill development programmes etc. to women leaders.Item A CONCEPTUAL STUDY ABOUT EMERGING ISSUES AND CHALLENGES OF WOMEN ENTREPRENEURS(Dr. NGP Arts and Science College, 2018-09) Vidyakala KThe study mainly focuses on the problems faced by women entrepreneurs. The educated women do not want to limit their lives in only the household works. They want to achieve equal rights and positions in the society. Indian traditions are deep rooted into the society. In the way of women entrepreneurship, there are social, cultural and economic hurdles and the major problem is the lack of entrepreneurial environment. Despite all these social hurdles, many women are successful in their work. The study suggests providing support and encouragement through infrastructural facilities, finance, training programmes and skill development programmes etc to women entrepreneurs.Item A CONCEPTUAL STUDY ABOUT PROBLEMS AND CHALLENGES FACED BY WOMEN FARMERS IN INDIA(PSGR Krishnammal College for Women, 2018-02) Vidyakala K; Raji Jennet; Divyabharathi JIndia is a developing country. India’s main occupation is agriculture, because 70% of the population is involved in this occupation. Agriculture is an engine of growth and poverty reduction in developing countries. Many women in developing countries are occupied in agriculture. Women play a significant role in agricultural development and allied activities including main crop production, live-stock production, horticulture, post-harvesting operations etc. Women farmers do not have equal access to productive resources and this significantly limits their potential in enhancing productivity. This study attempts to capture the essence of success of women entrepreneurs in a highly globalized economy.Item ORGANIC FARMING(Bonfring International Publication, 2018-02) M, MageswariIn the ancient time, agriculture was practiced without the use of artificial chemicals. The use of artificial chemicals such as fertilizers and pesticides came into picture during the mid-19th century. This kind of agricultural practice was causing harm to the environment. With the rapid change in farming practices, organic farming came into existence in the 20th century. It made use of environment friendly practices by avoiding the use of artificial chemicals and making use of organic matter to raise crops. Organic food is beneficial to human health and the practice of organic farming keeps the environment clean.Currently, India ranks 10th among the top ten countries in terms of cultivable land under organic certification. The certified area includes 10% cultivable area with 0.50 million Hectare and rest 90% (4.71 million Hectare) is forest and wild area for collection of minor forest produces. The total area under organic certification is 5.21 million Hectare. In this we will see the key features of organic farming protecting the long term fertility of soils by maintaining organic matter levels, encouraging soil biological activity, and careful mechanical intervention. It also plays an important role in promoting gender equality and social and economic inclusion, stimulate local development, and contribute to sustainable development, especially when new technologies are combined with the availability of open and public data.It also highlights the scope for the emergence of new digitaldivides. In many developed countries, the digital divide is increasingly moving from one of(Affordable, reliable, safe and high-speed) access (to digital technologies), to the ability to use and exploit them to create new opportunities. The ’EY G20 Digital Entrepreneurship Barometer’ ranks Entrepreneurship in the group of 20 or G20 countries on five metrics: access to finance; Entrepreneurial culture; digital business environment; digital skills and Entrepreneurial education; digital knowledge base and the ICT (Information and Communication technology) market. India ranks in bottom 10 of G20 digital Entrepreneurship survey. The transition from cash to cashless economy is filled with trials amongst which the utmost challenge is acceptability from its people. Security, confidentiality and safety is considered as the core factor that brings in immediate effect on the people’s behavior on going digital. Thus, this paper provides an insight about the requirement of a unified structure and system that has a strong governing on digital payment systems that helps in achieving ‘A Secured Cashless Economy’. It is already found that RBI has taken various initiatives in ensuring cyber security and safety. However, the study suggests more initiatives and steps that could be taken by the government of India in formulating a secured digital world and educating its people to understand the benefits gained out of those respective initiatives.Item A COLLECTIVE STUDY ON INDUSTRY 4.0 AND KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT PRACTICES TO ENHANCE STUDENTS AT UNIVERSITIES AND COLLEGES(Bonfring / PSGR Krishnammal college for Women, 2019-10) M, Josephin RemithaThe fourth industrial revolution takes the automation of manufacturing processes to a new level by introducing customized and flexible mass production technologies that machines will operate independently, or cooperate with humans in creating a customer need oriented production in the field that constantly works on maintaining itself. The machine rather becomes an independent entity that is able to collect data, analyse it, and advise upon it. Whereas, Knowledge Management (KM) practices is the systematic management of an industry knowledge assets for the purpose of creating value and meeting tactical & strategic requirements; it consists of the initiatives, processes, strategies, and systems that endure and enhance the storage, assessment, sharing, refinement, and creation of knowledge. In the words of Peter Drucker "Knowledge Management is the coordination and exploitation of industry knowledge resources, in order to create benefit and competitive advantage". KM is not one single discipline, rather it is an integration of numerous endeavour’s and fields of study. As a result, useful knowledge is gained which then becomes basis for the industry 4.0 and with the contest to gaining competitive advantage and knowledge to the student to adopt them in to the new technologies. Based on the reviews of existing literature in this area, this article attempts to explore the Collaborative Study on Industry 4.0 and Knowledge Management Practices to enhance student at collage level that gives a conceptual framework to determine the competitive advantage towards students education at collage level. This article will provide a basis for the Students education to understand the importance of KM Practices and Industry 4.0.
