Item A STUDY ON PUBLIC AWARENESS AND WILLINGNESS TOWARDS ORGAN DONATION(International Journal of Research and Analytical Reviews UGC Approved Journal, 2019-01) R, JayasathyaTransplantation is considered one of the greatest advances of modern science that has given many patients arenewed lease of life.Improvements that increase the number and improve the quality of organs that are available for transplantation have been slow to come, with most of them have been developed through innovations in local practice standards.The research study has analyzed the public awareness and willingness towards organ donation. The survey has been conducted on the basis of Purposive sampling method. The survey has been conducted in Coimbatore city with sample size of 150 respondents.The findingsof the study reveal that 40 per cent of the respondents are in the age group of 25 years –34 years, 60 per cent of the respondents are female, and 40.7 per cent of the respondents are aware through their friends & relative. The study suggested that, awareness towards organ donation should be made to increase the donors. Educational Campaign and orientation for organ donation should be conducted regularly to raise the knowledge on organ donation among the public.Item CONSUMER REFLECTION ON BUY ONE GET ONE FREE (BOGO) PROMOTION SCHEME- AN EMPIRICAL STUDY(Our Heritage, 2020-02) Kanimozhi R.S; Dharani K; Jayasathya RIn India, the sales promotion schemes are very popular and attract a large number of consumers. There are several promotion schemes that are adopted in the market to sell the products and to attract the consumers. Buy one get one free has a positive impact on consumer buying behaviour during sales promotion. The study aims to identify the awareness and the purchasing behaviour of consumers towards buy one get one free scheme. The research study focused mainly influences, reflection and satisfaction of the consumer towards buy one get one promotion scheme. Convenience sampling technique has been adopted for the purpose of collecting questionnaire. Data has been collected from 175 respondents. The study has been conducted in Coimbatore. It is a major and growing health problem affecting more than 171 million people worldwide. India is one of the top three countries with a high number of diabetic populations. The number of diabetes patients is likely to rise to 101 million in India by 2030, estimates the World Health Organisation (WHO). The study on awareness regarding diabetes and its management is restricted to diabetes patients. It evaluates the awareness among the diabetes. It also identifies the psychological factors and remedies to overcome diabetes. Purposive sampling method has been used to collect the data from the respondents. Simple Percentage analysis, Multiple responses, Descriptive statistics, ANOVA and t-test. The findings of the study reveal that 50.7 per cent of the respondents take Allopathic medicine to reduce their sugar level. The study suggests that Yoga and proper physical exercise can reduce the risk of diabetes.
