Resilience is the capacity to withstand traumatic and stressful experiences. Psychologists have long recognized the capabilities of humans to adapt and overcome risk and adversity. The present study was an attempt to study stress resilience and job satisfaction among the employees of a Shipyard in Kerala. A convenience sample consisting of sixty employees participated in the study. Questionnaire method was adopted for collecting data. The collected data was analysed with mean, standard deviation, ANOVA, correlation and regression tests. Results indicated that there was a higher level of resilience and job satisfaction among the above 40 years age group; male respondents; graduates; and above 10 years experience group. There was a significant difference in resilience among the respondents of different age groups; different gender; and different experience groups. There was a significant difference in job satisfaction among the respondents of different gender; different experience groups; and different income groups. There was a significant correlation between resilience and job satisfaction.
