Abstract
A buffalo was presented with history of calving four weeks prior, passing of reddish and frothy urine from previous evening. On clinical examination, buffalo had dullness, pale mucous membranes, tachycardia and abnormal vital parameters. Laboratory examination revealed lowered RBC, Haemoglobin, PCV, serum phosphorus, total protein, albumin and glucose levels. Buffalo was treated with parenteral phosphorous and supportive therapy. Animal recovered four days after therapy.
