Item A FEEDBACK RETRIAL QUEUEING SYSTEM WITH IMPATIENT CUSTOMERS, MULTI OPTIONAL REPAIR, VACATION AND ORBITAL SEARCH(2022-11-30) Nila M; Sumitha DThis article explores Mx/G/1 retrial queueing model with feedback, break down, multi optional repair, customers impatience and vacation. The server may fail at any time during the service. As soon as breakdown occurs, the server can opt any one of the multi optional repair. At the completion of repair, server starts the service for interrupted customer. Upon the service completion, the customer is admitted to make a feedback. At each service completion, the server takes a vacation. Upon completion of the vacation, the server takes customers directly from the orbit for service if any. Probability generating function (PGF) of queue size, system size and various performance measures are computed.Item TWO PHASE RETRIAL QUEUE WITH STARTING FAILURES, CUSTOMER IMPATIENCE, FEEDBACK AND BERNOULLI VACATION(2022) Nila M; Sumitha DThis paper analyses batch arrival retrial queue with impatient customers, Bernoulli vacation, feedback and server subject to starting failure. The server renders two phases of heterogeneous service, first essential phase service (FEPS) and second optional phase service (SOPS). The customers balk and renege at particular times. On completion of SOPS, with certain probability the server may go for a vacation or remains idle. The customers are allowed to make a feedback after both the phases. We derive steady state solutions and performance measures for this model. We explore the various effects of system parameters numerically.
