Item CASE STUDIES ON ONLINE ADVERTISEMENTS AND PROS AND CONS OF SOCIAL MEDIA(International journal of management and social sciences Citation: not available, 2018) S, Vijayalakshmi; K, Bhuvaneswari; S, NandidaOnline advertisers utilize the ignorance of rational consumer’s data to target their marketing appeals. There are sophisticated methods used by the advertisers to target certain set of consumers through online. They not only stop there but also keep tracking the users of social networking sites, thus leading to the invasion of privacy. They target through examining the search history, tracking the devices that have their location settings on, examining behaviour of users of online apps, methods of retargeting etc. The advertisements are focused on the consumer’s strong preference towards certain products. The multi-homing consumers enhanced the value of targeted advertisements. This paper is attempted to provide a glimpse of online advertisements and pros and cons of social media through the three case studies discussed below. This article is a result of “A study on Transfer pricing”. The study includes the methods that are involved in calculating the transfer prices and the applicability of transfer pricing to companies under the sections of Income Tax act. The data collected for this study is secondary data and is collected from the financials of the company. The tools used for calculating transfer pricing for such a company is Cost plus method. They play a dominant role in setting a frame work and managerial conclusion can be drawn from these statements. The project entitled “Financial performance analysis of Ashok Leyland company ltd” throw light on overall financial performance of the company. The financial statements of ASHOK LEYLAND have been collected over a period of five years from 2013 – 2018. Ratio analysis has been used to know the financial performance of the firm. Results indicate that the performance of Ashok Leyland in the study period has been excellent
