Organic products grown in healthier soil contain higher amounts of nutrients, and many taste better than their conventional counterparts. Hence, the popularity of such produce is picking up volumes in recent years. There is no better choice for one's consumption than organic produce, The main advantages are that it is safer, healthier, and usually chemical-free, as there is no usage of artificial substances such as pesticides, herbicides, and genetically modified organisms (GMOs). They have less awareness towards organic food and their consumption level is also very low. Organic food is treated as an important factor for the consumer to led hygienic life. Wastelands in India can be converted into cultivable lands where Organic farming can be implemented which will increase the productivity of organic products in future. The educational system in turn depends upon the quality and personal interest of the teachers in their job. The present study is conducted to investigate the job satisfaction of the four levels of teachers in their job. A survey is conducted with 120 number of teacher i.e.30 from primary level,30 from secondary level,30 from higher secondary level,30 from college level (questionnaire) is prepared to collect data from the colleges and schools. Here simple percentage analysis, Descriptive Statistics, Chi-square, Independent Z test has been used. Time pressure may occur both in working place and also in family for working women. Pressure occurs when it is not possible to carry out their normal work where they should able to finish the work with tension and other factors. Working under frequent or constant time pressure may lead to health problems or job related illness. Time pressure may occur due to age structure, uncooperative management, expectations and reality of the situation and unclear structure. The main aim of the study “strategies used by working women to reduce time pressure” is to identify the factors used to reduce the time pressure and the level of satisfaction regarding the strategies followed to reduce time pressure and also to find out about the problems that may arise by using the strategies to reduce time pressure. Instruments such as cell phones and kitchen appliances like microwave ovens are also included in this category. The sector has been witnessing significant growth in recent years, helped by several drivers such as the emerging retail boom, real estate and housing demand, greater disposable income and an overall increase in the level of affluence of a significant section of the population. The industry is represented by major international and local players such as BPL, Videocon, Voltas, Blue Star, MIRC Electronics, Titan, Whirlpool, etc. There is a discernible shift in the consumer’s preference in favour of higher end, technologically superior branded products, the demand being spurred by increasing consumer awareness and preference for new models. Competition has forced the companies to offer efficient after sales service and support and this, in turn , has swayed consumer preference for branded products. Thus it made the consumer durable market more competitive and exponential growth in recent years. The present study seeks to identify the awareness and behaviour towards the brand of durable goods of 200 respondents. The respondents were selected by convenient random sampling technique in Coimbatore city of Tamil Nadu. The relevant data of the socio economic profile, consumer awareness, consumer behaviour the factors influencing the women to use particular brand, the customer satisfaction level were collected with the help of structured questionnaires. Thus, the study has given in depth knowledge about the present scenario of using durable goods.Item A STUDY ON CONSUMER PREFERENCE AND SATISFACTION TOWARDS MICRO BRANDS IN PALANI WITH SPECIAL REFERENCE TO SELECTED FOOD PRODUCTS(International Journal of Business & Administration Research Review, 2016-10) Nithya L; Durai Eswari SMicro brand is a small-scale brand recognized only in a certain geographic location or by consumers in a specific micro market or niche market. This study is to identify the consumer preference and satisfaction level of the respondents while using Micro brands. The data has been collected from 200 consumers in Palani by applying convenient sampling technique. Statistical tools such as percentage analysis, Descriptive statistics, ANOVA and Chi-square analysis have been used to analyse the data. Finding of the study reveals that there is no significant relationship between gender, age, marital status, educational qualification, occupational status, monthly income, residential area and family size level of satisfaction of micro brands. The study has attempted to cast light on the preference of the consumers also the study has necessitated the micro brands increase the awareness about its different products which are high quality then their competitors.Item A STUDY ON CONSUMER SATISFACTION TOWARDS HIMALAYA PRODUCTS WITH SPECIAL REFERENCE TO DHARAPURAM TOWN(International Journal of commerce and Management Research, 2016-07) Nithya L; Durai Eswari SThis study is to identify the consumer satisfaction level and the problems faced by the respondents while using Himalaya products. The data has been collected from 50 consumers in Dharapuram by applying convenient sampling technique. Statistical tools such as percentage analysis, chi-square analysis and weighted score analysis have been used to analyse the data. Finding of the study reveals that there is no significant relationship between age, gender, educational qualification, monthly income, marital status and level of satisfaction of Himalaya product.The study has attempted to cast light on the preference of the consumers also this study has necessitated the Himalaya manufacturing company to increase the awareness about its different products which are high in quality then their competitors. .
