    The clothing retail industry in Coimbatore city of Tamilnadu is one such industry which is characterized by intensifying competition from both local and national companies leading to rise in more sophisticated and demanding customers. Consequently, retailers today aims to differentiate themselves by outperforming their competitors. Clothing has identities and images, and consumers seek those apparels that match their self-image or the image they would like to project to others. The clothing retail industry in Coimbatore city of Tamilnadu is one such industry which is characterized by intensifying competition from both local and national companies leading to rise in more sophisticated and demanding customers. This research paper analysis assess the life style features of the customers’ towards various leading textile showrooms in Coimbatore City.

    A STUDY ON INVENTORY MANAGEMENT OF AMARNATH MODERN RICEMILL, TIRUPPUR

    The implementation of an appropriate inventory management determines the financial health of a manufacturing firm. Hence, this paper reports the findings on the inventory management practices of Amarnath Modern RiceMill, which is situated in Tiruppur (Kangayam). The methodology used in this research are unstructured interviews, onsite study and annual reports analysis of the firm. The importance of inventory management to this business is to prevent stock out and ensure accurate record keeping. The inventory management technique that is being shown in this paper is ABC analysis. It main objective is to check the efficiency of control in the inventory management techniques that is being followed by this firm. It provides suggestions for the further improvement of its inventory control in the future
