Item AN ANALYTICAL STUDY ON HOUSEHOLDS AWARENESS AND ISSUES OF E-WASTE IN COIMBATORE CITY(International Journal of Management Studies – Researchers World, 2018-04) M, Anbukarasi; M, NithyasriElectronic waste (E-Waste) is one of the growing waste streams globally. Managing and recycling of these wastes have a greater challenge to the society. The present study is being confined to assess the awareness and issues of E-waste among the households. For the purpose of data collection the study utilizes a structured questionnaire of 100 household respondents on convenient basis. Percentage analysis, ANOVA and ranking technique were used to analyze the data. The findings of the study state that there is a lack of awareness among the households with regard to the hazardous components, handling technique, agencies and regulations with regard to E-waste. The educational level of the household respondents plays a significant role towards the awareness of E-waste management.Item AWARENESS AND PROTECTIVE MEASURES ON E-MARKETING: A CONSUMER PERSPECTIVE(Indian Journal of Applied Research – Paripex, 2014-03) M, Nithyasri; C, AnithaMaryE-Marketing is the process of marketing a brand using the Internet. It includes both direct response marketing and indirect marketing elements and uses a range of technologies to help connect businesses to their customers. This study encompasses about the awareness and protective measures on e-marketing with the objective to analyze the awareness, problems faced and customer expectations towards e-marketing. In this study the researcher has used convenient sampling method and the tools include Chi-Square, Descriptive, and Garret ranking for analysis. The study concluded that all the online users do not have high level awareness and time saving is the most important factor which induces the customers to use online marketing. The findings of the study reveal that BIG BAZAAR is able to provide almost all categories of items related food, health, beauty products, clothing and food wear, durable goods. So it become quite easier for the customer to buy from one shop and hence, is a convenient way of shopping for the customers when compared to other departmental storesItem STRATEGIES AND ISSUES OF E- WASTE RECYCLERS(The Research Journal of Social Sciences, 2019-01-19) M, Anbukarasi; M, NithyasriThe economy is being triggered with advanced technology and up gradation, this in turn have degraded the environment and increased the amount of E-Waste of the economy. The E-Waste is being land filled and managing of these waste have became a threat to the society. The present study focuses on the managing strategies and issues faced by the recyclers of Coimbatore district. The data is being collected purposively from the 30 recyclers using structured interview schedule and was analyzed using One-Way ANOVA and ranking. The study finds that NGOs also contribute E-Waste for recycling, ICT equipments are given special treatment in recycling and shredding is encouraged while recycling have a significant difference towards age, education and years of recycling. There is a significant difference for Households are the major source of E-Waste, Consumer electronics have much intention in recycling, encouraging acid test for extracting the substances of E-Waste and Gloves/masks is mandatory while recycling for these strategies towards the nature of business. The study also concluded that there has a lack of regulations, government interference and no advanced equipments/ infrastructure as the major issues faced by the recyclers of E-Waste.Item A STUDY ON SATISFACTION LEVEL AND PROBLEMS OF POLICY HOLDERS IN MEDICAL INSURANCE(International Journal of Multidisciplinary Research and Development, 2016-03) C, AnithaMary; M, Nithyasri; M, HariniHealth Insurance policy is being purchased by families and individuals who can afford to pay the medical bills. But the Govt. of India is putting all its efforts to encourage people to buy health insurance and specialized insurance companies are promoted which are exclusively dealing in health insurance. The researchers have analyzed to identify the satisfaction level and problems of policy holders of health insurance in Coimbatore City with 100 respondents. For the purpose of analysis percentage analysis, ANOVA and ranking techniques have been used. The findings of the study states that there is no significant difference between Annual Income and Satisfaction factors like Flexible Premium, Company is clear & true and overall experience and Settlement Amount is lower than what it is claimed as the major problem faced by the policy holders. Hence, it is identified that policyholders felt difficult to get treatment in the hospital in which the insurance company were made tie-up.
